कृषि मंत्री और क्रिकेट बोर्ड अध्य्क्ष, शरद पवार हैं।
इसलिए जब विदर्भ के किसान कर्ज न चुका पाने के कारण आत्महत्या करते हैं तो शरद पवार उन्हें सलाह देते हैं कि जमीन बेच दो और नौकरी करो, खेती में कुछ नहीं रखा है।
और जब भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम 20-20 नाम का एक तमाशाई टूर्नामेंट जीत जाती है तो वे बोर्ड की तरफ से टीम को 12 करोड़ रुपए और युवराज सिंह को एक ओवर में 6 छक्के लगाने के लिए 1 करोड़ रुपए के इनाम का एलान करते हैं।
विदर्भ में आत्महत्या कर रहे किसानों की महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री विलासराव देशमुख “आलसी” कह कर खिल्ली उड़ाते हैं, लेकिन क्रिकेट टीम की अगवानी के लिए एअरपोर्ट पहुंच जाते हैं।
वोट मिलेंगे ऎसा करने से?
देखेंगे अगले चुनाव में।

I think it should not be a problem. BCCI has money, and they have given. It is not BCCI’s respobsiblity to give money to the farmers. It is a body for cricket not for farmers. There are businessman, industrialists in India. Nobody is saying that they are earning lots of money. Do they give money to farmers? No…they are not. …So what is the point for BCCI to give money. We have to think something else for our farmers. Our great politicians who to think about it.
This is very bad, he Sharad Pawar should give knowldge to farmers so that they can use solar energy. use neem made cheap pesticide. water harvesting for securing their future.

I din’t think a single person can concentrate on more than one target. He might miss the both, I think it exactly what is going with Mr. Sharad Pawar. He sould concentrate more on his ministry inplace of cricket. Cricket is not more important than the life of our Farmers.

Sharad pawar is really stupid man, he is make a his political nusense in Cricket, instead of doing work in Maharasthra, he is interested in cricket only.
Its not with Indian Cricket , we see these cases in many places.
I think those who have money needs to think about farmers.
But giving money to farmers is not a solution to it.
We want to literate them. Once they get educated they can do something.
Also I think we really lack the good quality agreeculture education in rural areas.
We need to take initiative and do something for farmers , poor people and lets not wait what other people do about them.
Its really very bad and frustrating that instead motivating our farmers we are pusing them for suicide. I think we are equally responsible for this because we are the people who encourage the cricket.
And also as Mr Sarad Pawar is the head of BCCI and agriculture department so it is their responsbility to take care benefits of farmers. If BCCI has lots of money, it is because of us only who watch the cricket so I think they should use this money to make our farmers and country on track

it sounds really good to raise such a question and take the moral high ground and do our favourite all time thing….which to blame the politicians BUT everything in life operates on basic principles of economics which is demand and supply!! now there’re millions of farmers who do a similar type of job but tell me…how many people in this world have the capability of hitting 6 sixes in an over!!! infact if u compare sportstars of india to their counterparts around the world…..they’re grossly underpaid!! while it is true that condition of farmers in india is miserable,but comparing it to 1 crore paid to yuvraj singh is well……just unjustified and insensible!!

I think first we should not merge the the BCCI and farmers. BCCI is the body for cricket and farmers problems is other issue. We can say A politician should not be a Cricket Boss. If he is politician he should work for poor farmers.
